Our policies
Read these before you book. Each one starts from the same promise: you are covered, you choose, and you can stop.
Undressing and draping
A sheet and a blanket cover you the whole time. Only the part we are working on is uncovered, and it is covered again when we move on. Undress only as far as you like; whatever you keep on, we work around. We step out while you get settled.
Pressure, consent and stopping
We ask before we start and check as we go. Tell us at any time to go lighter or firmer, to change position or to stop, and we stop right away. You never have to give a reason.
Before your visit
Arrive a few minutes early, eat something light and wear whatever is comfortable. There is no need to arrive in anything special: we bring the pillows, the linens and the oil. If you have been told to rest or avoid anything, tell us at the door.
When to ask your doctor first
Ask your doctor or midwife before your first visit, and tell your therapist how far along you are when you book. For a postpartum visit, ask them when it is all right to begin. We follow what they say, and we may suggest you check with them first.
Booking and deposits
Choose a length, a day and a therapist on the booking page. A card holds the time, and you see anything charged before you confirm. We take no deposit for a single visit.
Canceling and running late
Please give us 24 hours to move or cancel, since your therapist has held the time. If you are running late, we shorten the session so the next visit still starts on time. If you are unwell or something has changed with your pregnancy, call us and we will move your visit without question.
If you miss an appointment
If we cannot reach you and you do not come, the visit counts as missed. We would rather hear from you, so call or text and we will find another day.
Children and companions
Massage is for adults. A newborn may stay with you during a postpartum visit: tell us when you book and we will set up a quiet corner and a chair. For older children, ask us first.
If you're not happy
If a session was not right, tell us within a few days and we will make it right.
Tipping
Tipping is optional and always appreciated. You can add it when you pay, or hand it to your therapist.
